How to setup your E-Mail in Outlook '97

Open Microsoft Outlook 97 Click "Tools", click "Services". If "Internet Mail" is not listed in the "Services" window: Click the Add button. Click "Internet Mail" and click Ok. Follow the Instructions that Outlook provides. Click "Internet Mail", then click the Properties button. For "Full Name", type: Your real name or whatever name you wish. For "Email Address", type: Your current e-mail address For "Internet Mail Server", type: pop.whateverdomain.com For "Account Name", type: Your ISP username For "Password", type: Your ISP password Click the Advanced Options button. For "Outgoing E-mail (SMTP)", type: smtp.whateverdomain.com Click the Ok button three times. Click the "Tools" menu, click "Options". Click the "Email" tab. Check "Internet Mail" in the "Check for new mail on" box if it is currently unchecked. Click the Apply button. Click the Ok button.
