How to setup your E-Mail in Outlook '98

Open Microsoft Outlook 98 Click "Tools", then click "Accounts". Click the "Mail" tab in the "Internet Accounts" window. Click the Add button. In the pop-up window that appears, click "Mail". Note: A new window titled "Internet Setup Wizard will appear. This is not the same wizard that you may have used to set-up your Internet connection. For "Display Name", type: Your real name or other name you wish to use Click the Next button. For "Email Address", type: Your current e-mail address For "Incoming Mail Server" choose "POP3", then type: pop.whateverdomain.com For "Outgoing (SMTP) Server", type: smtp.whateverdomain.com Click the Next button. Click the radio button next to "Log on using". For "Username", type: Your current ISP username For "Password", type: Your ISP password Click the Next button. For "Internet mail account name", type: Whatever you want to name it Click the Next button. For "Choose Connection Type", click the radio button for "Connect using phone line" or if you want to manually connect, "I will establish my connection manually". Click the Next button, then click the Finish button. In the "Accounts" window click the Close button. To receive mail, click the Send & Receive button.
